First Tibetan Olympic medalist Tibetans cheered for one of their own during the London Olympics. 22-year-old Choeyang Kyi, who comes from a nomadic family, is the first Tibetan Olympic medalist, having won a bronze medal in the women’s 20 kilometer race walk event held on August 11.
