    The hurricane Nargis struck Myanmar in the beginning of May, 2008. When it seemed that the government of Myanmar made obstruction for the routing of the international assistance in the destroyed zones, Zarganar took the head of a movement of donors and more than 400 volunteers he had mostly recruited himself, who crossed over the roadblocks and control points to bring an emergency help to thousands of disaster victims.
